The work continues!
The event is over but this website continues. We'll be posting photos of the event (including yours if you want) and highlighting winners of awards. If you have any links or information you would like to see posted on this website please let us know. This website will remain active and changing thoughout this year, so please continue to check back and use us as a resource.
Onsite Registration
Forgot to register for camping? No problem. Camping is still available onsite for $10/night, but unfortunately only without hookups. You may pay for camping at the registration desk when you arrive, but If possible we would greatly appreciate you letting us know.
Please understand that Camping at the Enumclaw Fairgrounds SAR conference site is not the equivalent of a normal RV or Camping park. It will be a real challenge to accommodate all RV's and tents in the custom that you are probably use to. RV camping will be in open fields with limited power capabilities. Generally, tent camping will be just south of the RV area, but inside the fence line of the fairground property next to restroom and shower facilities. Hopefully, everyone will understand the need to be flexible and that we may not be able to accommodate everyone's desire to locate next to their SAR companion(s).
Onsite Camping
There is plenty of space onsite for tents and RVs. Camping cost $10/night without hook-up and $15/night with electricity at the time of registration. The location of your camp within the camping area is based on first come first served. To sign-up for either general conference or pre-conference camping, please use the downloadable general conference registration form in the registration section on our website.
Want more? $26/night provides a concrete pad, electrical and water. Sorry, sewer is still not available. Call the fairgrounds at (206) 296-8888 to register separately for a reserved upgraded RV site.
Offsite Camping
The closest public campground to the conference, other than our onsite camping mentioned above, is Kanaskat-Palmer State Park, about 11 miles northeast of Enumclaw. The park has 31 tent spaces, 19 utility spaces, one dump station, two restrooms and six showers. Maximum site length is 50 feet. Reservations might be needed as the conference is on the cusp of the summer season. If you're planning on camping here please plan ahead and explore reserving a campsite early.
