James William McMeins - February 25th, 1952 - April 21st, 2006
On April 21st, 2006, King County Search And Rescue lost a valued SAR Coordinator. Jim McMeins, who has been an integral part of search and rescue in King County for many years, passed away at home during the quiet early morning hours. His input and guidance will be sorely missed. The planning and operational staff of the 2006 Washington State SAR Conference would like to dedicate this event to the memory of Jim and the manner in which he lived life.
