Search Techniques for Outdoor Leaders

Class Description

Instructed by Paul Green.

This class will focus on search techniques used by an outdoor leader to find a missing participant. The session will review questions to ask about the lost participant and explain search techniques designed for the outdoor leader who has limited resources. This exciting session is useful for search and rescue team members, trip leaders, camp directors, or anyone responsible for leading in the outdoors.

Dr. Green is a Professor of outdoor recreation at Eastern Washington University where he teaches classes on adventure activities, search and rescue and outdoor leadership. His web site is Outdoor-experts.com.
